PreQual CalcuLetter Setup
To reach the Admin page of your PreQual CalcuLetter, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Originator Network (back
office) account.
- Select Manage Website.
- Select PreQual CalcuLetter.
You can use your Admin page to:
- Activate amortization periods and default interest rates seen by users.
- Control the minimum down payment and closing costs.
- Set the property tax and insurance factors contributing to the monthly payment.
- Adjust the front and back ratios for different LTV's.
- Author your own prequalification letter.
- Much more!
These instruction refer to the image below.
- Interest rate. Enter the default interest rates for the
various amortization periods seen by consumers.
- Enable Term. Control the amortization periods appearing
in your CalcuLetter. Thirty year amortization always appears.
- Closing costs, tax and insurance, minimum down:
- Closing Cost Point. A number greater than zero will reduce
the cash available for a down payment and lower the Maximum Affordable
Home Value (MAHV). Enter zero to return the
highest MAHV.
- Property Tax Rate. Enter the property tax rate for your
territory. This factor references the MAHV.
- Insurance Rate. Enter the property insurance rate. This
factor references the loan amount.
- Minimum Down. A number greater than zero will
lower the MAHV. Enter zero to return the highest
MAHV.
- FDRFront Debt Ratio. These factors will restrict the MAHV.
Increase the factors to return a higher MAHV.
- BDRBack Debt Ratio. These factors will restrict
the MAHV. Increase the factors to return a higher
MAHV.
- Email To. The CalcuLetter is also a lead capturing tool.
When a consumer submits their contact information prior to printing
the prequalification letter, you receive their information. It will
be sent to the email address you have entered.
- Email Cc. Enter a Cc: email address from a different email
provider. Leads will be sent to this backup email address.
- Default State. The default state appears in the contact information form. A prospect may select any state.
- Hide Applicant's Financial Information
in Pre-Qual Letter: If you do not want to disclose
the borrower's income, debt and cash available, select this check-box.
- Enter Company Name and Address. Use this section to create your letterhead on the prequalification letter.
- This section will be fully populated in the prequalification letter.
- This is one of three text fields (see items 14 and 15) you'll use
to create the body of the prequalification letter. Include all necessary
disclaimers. You may use HTML.
- This section will be fully populated in the prequalification letter.

- These signature lines are used to compose your closing signature in the prequalification letter.
- Update the information to save the data and reach the Company Data
page.
After submitting the previous Admin. page, you reach this
page, "Company Data for PreQual CalcuLetter."
Use the links in this page to verify that your letter looks just the way
you want it to, and test email delivery to your account(s).

- PreQual CalcuLetter in Adobe Acrobat format. Use this link
to view your prequalification letter in Adobe Acrobat format. If you
don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may download

- Email Test. Use this link to test and confirm lead delivery to your email account(s).
