1. What Is Loan Status Tracker?

What is Loan Status Tracker?

  • LTrack is a web-based tool which lets borrowers monitor the status of their loan, on-line, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Access to borrower information is confidential and password-protected.
  • You may manually enter the borrower's loan status information into a form via your web browser, or export it from standard loan processing programs such as POINT (Calyx), Loan Handler (Contour), and Genesis2000.

2. Login

Loan Status Tracker is administered in your back office. For your back office location, contact Myers Technical Support.

3. Loan Status Tracker Link

After logging into Originator Network, follow these links to the Loan Status Tracker Administration Menu.

  1. Select "Manage Web site."
  2. Select "Loan Tracker."

4. Enter Loan Programs

During your first visit to Ltrack, you enter loan programs, loan officers and loan processors. YOU MUST ENTER AT LEAST ONE OF EACH. In this screen, you select all the loan programs you offer. Be sure to click the "Submit Query" button at the bottom of the screen.

5. Add Loan Officers

After adding loan programs, you reach this screen. Add at least one loan officer. Click the "Submit Query" button at the bottom of the screen.

6. Add Loan Processors

After adding loan officers, you reach this screen. Add at least one loan processor. Click the "Submit Query" button at the bottom of the screen. After setting up programs, officers and processors, Ltrack is ready to manage and display information about your borrowers. Each time you log into Ltrack you'll reach the Ltrack Company Administration Screen. Click Next to view the Ltrack Company Administration screen.

8. Manual Administration

Ltrack offers you the ability to manually and automatically update your borrower's loan status details. Here's how to manually view and edit borrower information.

  1. In your Ltrack Company Administration Menu enter information in one or more of the Edit/Delete Borrower text boxes to retrieve one borrower. Leave the Edit/Delete Borrower text boxes blank to retrieve all borrowers.
  2. Click the borrower's loan number to view loan status details.
  3. View and edit borrower loan status details.

9. Custom Fields

You may want to display additional information not contained in the file you import to Loan Status Tracker. Custom fields are available for exactly that. Custom fields and the information they contain are manually created and edited by you via the Loan Status Tracker administration menu. To create a custom field, follow these steps:

  1. In the Loan Status Tracker administration menu, click Activate Custom Fields.
  2. The next screen is titled Add, Edit or Delete Custom Fields. In the Field Name box, enter the name of the new field.
  3. In the Action drop-down box, select Create. Click Done. This new field will be available for every existing and new borrower. You'll see it when you edit a borrower's record. The borrower will see it when they view their loan status information. To delete a custom field, begin with step 1 above. Skip step 2. In step 3, click the Action Box down-arrow. Select delete. To rename a field, type the new name in the Field Name text box. Click Done.
  4. When you manually edit a borrower's record, the custom field will be available to accept information.

10. Consumer Experience

Prior to a consumer logging in for the first time, they must have received their loan number from you. A consumer accesses Loan Status Tracker via the "Check Loan Status"" link.

The consumer may view but not change their loan status information. Here is an example of some of the details available to the consumer.

12. POINT—Create Loan Programs

POINT can automatically transfer the borrower's loan program to LTrack. To enable this feature, loan programs must be created in POINT and Ltrack. The list of programs in the table below already exist in your Ltrack account. From the list, create the desired loan programs in POINT. Enter these programs exactly as they appear.

Here is an example of creating the "Conforming 30 year fixed" loan program.

  1. Start POINT
  2. Select File | New | Template | Loan Program

  3. Enter the loan program.

  4. Save the loan program: File | Save. The File name you enter in the "Save Loan Program Template File" dialog box should be eight characters or fewer.

13. POINT—Download Myers.rpt File

Follow these steps to place the myers.rpt file in your Report directory. (The path to your Report directory may be C:\winpoint\pnttempl\report or C:\pnttempl\report.)

Select myers.rpt to begin the download process. (Left-clicking the myers.rpt link usually opens the File Download box. If not, right-click, then Save Target As or Save Link As.) After saving the file to your Report directory, you may see a dialog box, "Download Complete." If so, close the box.

14. POINT—Create Report

In the previous step you downloaded the myers.rpt file. You'll now use that file to create a new file which will be imported to Ltrack. Open POINT if it is not already open.

  1. Start POINT
  2. Select the Reports pane
  3. Select the "myers" report
  4. Select "Generate"

  5. Select File | Export | Custom ASCII

  6. In the Field Separator drop-down, select comma. In the Text Qualifier drop-down, select quotation marks. Deselect "Include Field Names in First Row." Export.

  7. In the Save In drop-down, navigate to the REPORT folder. Save. The report default name is POINTEXP.TXT.

15. POINT—Import To Loan Status Tracker

In the previous step, you created a file in POINT (or other LOS). You'll now retrieve that file and import it into Loan Status Tracker.

  1. Log in to your back office.
  2. Follow the links, Manage Website | Loan Tracker.
  3. Select POINT in the drop-down menu.
  4. Select the Browse button.


  5. Locate the file you created (POINTEXP.TXT).
  6. Select and open the file.


  7. Import Into Ltrack

  8. Select ... and Upload!
  9. Return to the administration menu. Borrower information is now ready for you to view and edit. The borrower may now view their loan information.

16. Known Issues

Which LOS versions are compatible with Loan Status Tracker?

  1. Contour versions 4.1 and 4.2.
  2. Genesis2000 version 16.x
  3. Calyx Point versions 3.x, 4.x and 5.x.
